NRWC Reentry Certification
NRWC will be launching a reentry certification program for leaders and practitioners who are working with people who have been impacted by the justice system. The certification offers the field a baseline standard of practice that synthesizes over 20 years of research into successful reentry practices. In partnership with Alliance for Community and Justice Innovation (ACJI), NRWC will offer both a Reentry Specialist and a Reentry Leader certification. This certification framework is the first of its kind to offer reentry organizations a common set of principles, knowledge, and science driven tools which can support community driven innovations and the emergence of new and promising practices.

CREDENTIAL OFFERINGS
Certification for Reentry Specialist
(Level One)
A self-directed certification program for Program Managers, Reentry Specialists, Case Managers, Employment Specialists, and similar roles to develop the practical skills needed to effectively apply reentry workforce best practice in the field of reentry.
Certification for Reentry Leaders
(Level Two)
A self-directed certification program for Program Leaders (including but not limited to Program Directors/Managers, Workforce Development Director/Manager, Executive Director, and similar roles to empower key leaders to implement and measure program impact and be a resource of support for others on their team.
