The NRWC Annual Conference is the premier event where the reentry workforce field comes together to connect across roles and regions, collaborate to achieve shared goals, and elevate practice to meet the demands of a changing labor market. However, we know that many reentry organizations need to be even more strategic these days in how they make decisions about allocating funds, particularly for external resources.

Tips on Maximizing the ROI of Your Conference Attendance:

• Register by the August 14 Early Bird deadline to save on conference costs.
• Attend included networking opportunities like the Welcome Reception, breakfast and lunch, and all conference breaks.
• Explore the Exhibitor Showcase, which features organizations providing a wide range of reentry workforce services. Review the Exhibitor and Sponsor list in advance to potentially arrange meetings with those who may have solutions to assist your organization.
• Maintain work contact with complimentary internet access during the conference.
• Use the session information from the conference materials to outline some of the needed resources or current issues you’ll be learning about.
• You’ll have online access to conference presentation slides and session materials—share these tangible benefits with your colleagues for use as ongoing references.
• Offer to deliver a short presentation or host a Q&A session with your colleagues upon your return.  This is another opportunity for your participation to benefit your whole unit or department and increase the value of your attendance.
