“I especially enjoyed hearing what practitioners are doing around the country. Although it seems we share the same struggles, I heard lots of alternatives and different strategies that should be very helpful in my work!”
– Todd Angilly, Director of Workforce Development at Executive Office of Public Safety and Security
“For me just knowing that people and organizations like the ones in attendance exist has inspired me even more to give back as much as I can to this cause, to expand my network within and beyond the attendees, and to be and even stronger and more vocal champion to this cause and to “my” people.”
– Josh LeTeff, Remodeling Consultant Team Leader at Power Home Remodeling Group
“As we continue to build the business into a more helpful tool to support those reentering the workforce and society, I am looking for support, resources, ideas and feedback. I believe NRWC can provide a lot of that.”
– Drew Patterson, Owner at Basic Industries, LLC
“NRWC provided me the exposure to learn from all different perspectives such as the labor market, business community, fair chance hiring, corrections, etc. This sheds a spotlight into my work by reminding me to continue to build relationships with stakeholders that have a vested interest in helping formerly incarcerated individuals.”
– Feliciano Perez, Senior Program Manager at Jobs for the Future (JFF)
“It was exciting to hear from industry professionals that are advocating for change in the reentry space at the national level. It was also beneficial to learn about resources that clients and correctional facilities should implement and take advantage of in Southwestern PA.”
– Julia Gagosian, Program Manager of Special Projects at Partners4Work
