WHY NRWC
National Reentry Workforce Collaborative (NRWC) is the only national organization founded by workforce practitioners committed to advancing socio-economic mobility for people impacted by the justice system. To have a vibrant economy, we believe there must be equitable access to high-quality, evidence-informed workforce training that supports people seeking employment to position them to meaningfully contribute to their communities.
NRWC is an emerging national network of organizations, practitioners, advocates, employers, and industry experts in reentry programming and workforce development, spanning across 173 cities in 40 states. NRWC is committed to building an inclusive national community that elevates the voices and talents of justice-impacted persons, employers, nonprofit practitioners, and other stakeholders who are committed to Fair Chance Hiring. Our efforts mobilize purpose-driven organizations, provide strategic partnerships, and steadily build a stronger network for system-wide impact.
